Out and About
As part of the residency, I visited a vast variety of exhibitions taking place in Prague and was lucky enough to meet many of the artists involved. What follows is a sample of tweets I shared during these visits.
Great opening night for the @PragueCollege MA Fine Art and MA Future Design show. Some great work - I particularly liked Panik Polyviou's 'Choreographic Paper' project, and Akshaya Krishamoorthy's cultural exploration of city identity. Great work everyone! pic.twitter.com/ifTMWAKX37

This is a great exhibition in the @hunt_kastner gallery right now! It's a great space too. pic.twitter.com/NFHjlAJ1Ci
Through repeatedly dipping in plaster or wrapping in twine, Lehocká's new sculptural work is "cocoon like, layered limbs that keeps warmth and memory, an enclosed diary of emotions."

I'm in love with Denisa Lehocká's sculptural work at Futura: Centre for Contemporary Art, Prague pic.twitter.com/UbHPmkjXwh
Tonight I was at the vernissage for the "Oh, it is easy to be clever if one does not know all the questions" exhibition in @DOXPrague. Such a great exhibition! I particularly liked the work of Nicola Ellis, David Fesl and Nina Chua. Well done everyone! pic.twitter.com/tMWjh4vrSS

The "Chihuly-Libenský-Brychtová" exhibition in @DOXPrague is incredible - I've never seen such a beautiful use of glass in sculpture! pic.twitter.com/9ahTCFfAx4

As well as Tomáš Roubal's "Layers" installation last night at Holešovická Šatcha gallery, there was also some beautiful work from Kateřina Konarovská, Katerina Sidorova and Debbie Young, in an installation called "The Emperor is Naked". pic.twitter.com/4KdBby0BeT
